MRI

MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) uses a very large magnet to build highly detailed images. This process is typically used to examine bones, joints, and muscles.

In 2012, Memorial Hospital installed the Magnetom Espree 1.5 MRI system from Siemens. It is the only "large-bore" MRI in the region, which provides a more comfortable MRI experience and fits a larger variety of patients. The majority of scans can be done with your head completely outside of the MRI!
