Meet the Team: Josh Wilson

Josh Wilson began working as the hospital’s Patient Relations/Grievance Coordinator in March.

He comes to Sweetwater Memorial from Intermountain Cancer Center in Logan, Utah.

At MHSC, he speaks with patients about their experience with the hospital and its clinics. He facilitates process improvement when the experience doesn’t match up with the hospital’s mission, vision and values. He also listens to and shares comments, complaints, concerns, questions, and compliments from patients to the staff and hospital leadership.

What do you like most about your job?

I love hearing how many positive experiences patients are having at our hospital! It makes me feel good to be a part of a hospital culture that values compassionate patient care and experience so highly.

What inspired you to get into this type of work?

I have always been a chatterbox! I love talking to people and I love helping them get the most out of their experiences.

When you’re not at work, how do you like to spend your free time?

We have a rowdy 2-year-old at home who takes most of my time! But I love being outdoors, playing basketball, football, and tennis.

Tell us something most people don’t know about you.

I have 10 siblings and I speak Italian.
